Finding the Perfect Moroccan-Inspired Wallpaper
When I set out to design a moody, cozy basement to cocoon in all winter, I knew I wanted to incorporate wallpaper. It's just so fun and such a cool way to add a statement to a room. And there are SO many amazing peel and stick options, which is my preferred type - easy to install, easy to take down. What's not to love?
Over the past couple of weeks, I've been scouring the internet looking for the perfect Moroccan-inspired wallpapers to set off my space. The plan is to use two different wallpapers in two different spaces. One will be along this back wall behind the TV, covering the small section of wall that spans the entire length of the room.
The other spot is in the back of our wet bar area. I wanted the primary wallpaper to incorporate the cinnamon color used throughout the space, and I wanted the wet bar wallpaper to include more blues and teals and will show up around the space as the secondary color.
(P.S. Check out that paint progress!)
A week or ago, I asked my Facebook friends to choose their favorite wallpaper from the selection of samples that came in. I was surprised that most people like #4 the best as #2 was my personal favorite.
I actually ended up ordering 10 different samples, which made my decision pretty difficult because they're all so unique! Here are all the options I looked at; I'd love to know which ones are your favorites!
I'll also include all the links below so you can go grab some for yourself if any of these designs call to you.
Making the Final Selection
I bet you're wondering which designs I ultimately picked...and I'm just gonna keep you wondering! Ha!
I will tell you that it's none of the options I originally posted on Facebook...
I've placed my order and it's on track to arrive early next week! I'm sure I'll get to installing it in no time, so follow along at @casadelsoldesigns on IG if you want some to see what I've selected!
We're making some really solid progress on this space, and I can't wait to share more over the coming weeks!
xo,
Sam
