Eclectic Boho Master Bedroom | Fall 2020 One Room Challenge - Week 1
Updated: Nov 19, 2020
It's here! The Fall 2020 One Room Challenge! I am so excited to be participating in this challenge for the very first time. For those who don't know, the One Room Challenge (OCR) is a biannual interior design event where featured designers and guest participants take up the challenge of completing the transformation of one room in 6 weeks.
For this ORC, I'll be making over our master bedroom. We haven't touched this room at all since we've moved in, and it's about time we turn it in to a beautiful sanctuary. I'm definitely going to be keeping with the boho style I've played with throughout the living room and dining room, bringing in lots of natural elements and textures to the room. I also want to challenge myself to try some new things, like wall stenciling and adding cane webbing to our nightstands.
Here is the design plan:
Let's look at some "before" photos:
Here's the to-do/project list:
* Paint all walls Sherwin Williams Snowbound
* Paint accent wall behind bed Sherwin Williams Newburg Green
* Move sconces above bed to center over the nightstands
* Stencil accent wall behind bed
* Add cane webbing to our nightstands
* Get new dressers, bedding, headboard, bench
* Replace sconces
* Hang gallery wall
* Style & accessorize
There are going to be a lot of fun projects along the way, so I hope you'll follow along over the next 6 weeks as I complete this room!
